Leather Nourishing Cream is non-waxy, absorbs fully into the leather, and is ideal for regular maintenance. Leather Balm has a wax base for maximum protection and deep nourishment — designed for severely dry, cracked, or neglected leather. Balm will darken leather, so always test on a hidden area first. Use Cream for regular care and Balm for rescue treatments.

No — smooth leather cream will clog suede and nubuck fibres and cause permanent damage. If you've applied the wrong product, contact us at admin@spotless.cleaning before doing anything else.

The Resistor is a breathable water-repellent protector that works on all materials — leather, suede, nubuck, canvas, and synthetics. It creates an invisible barrier that keeps water and grime on the surface instead of soaking in. We recommend it for all footwear, especially before first wear and after every deep clean.

Shoe Cleaner and The Resistor are both safe and effective on all materials — leather, suede, nubuck, canvas, and synthetics. These are your universally safe products. Leather Cream and Leather Balm are smooth-leather only.

Good: Shoe Cleaner only — basic cleaning. Better: Shoe Cleaner + Leather Cream (or Suede Care for suede) — clean and condition. Best: Full 3-step — Clean + Condition + Protect with The Resistor. The full routine extends the life of your footwear significantly and makes daily care much easier.

Monthly for regular everyday footwear. After every heavy-use session for boots and outdoor footwear. Apply The Resistor after every deep clean to restore the protective barrier.

Apply 2–3 sprays to a damp soft brush, then brush in one direction only — never circular motions. Wipe off excess with a microfibre cloth and allow 2–4 hours to air dry. Never use heat. Apply Suede & Nubuck Care once fully dry.

4–6 weeks for heavy-use footwear (outdoor, daily wear), and up to 3 months for occasional wear. Always re-apply after a deep clean.

No — heat causes leather to crack and dry out, and can permanently damage suede. Always allow shoes to air dry naturally for 2–4 hours. Stuff with paper to help maintain shape while drying.

Yes — remove laces for a thorough clean. It also prevents laces from getting stained and lets you clean underneath the tongue properly.

Yes — our Shoe Cleaner uses a biologically active, biodegradable formula with no harsh solvents or bleaches. Safe on all materials and safe for the environment.
